Koichiro Doi was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
In the interest of becoming a fashion designer, he moved to New York to study fashion design, and graduated from Parsons School of Design.
After returning to Japan, Koichiro began shifting his focus to photography, and started his career as a still life photographer, acquiring skills and technique through self-study.
Koichiro specializes in the beauty and jewelry industry infusing life into his work utilizing still life photography and contributes as a creative director alongside to produce a never-created-before visual.
Through his experience and expertise in still life photography, he is also currently expanding his range of work in videography.
Koichiro shoots for various fashion magazines such as, French Magazine, GQ USA, Harper’s Bazaar Japan , i-D, Mixt(e), Narcisse Magazine, Numéro, T Magazine, Vogue Italy Pelle, Vogue Japan, Vogue Russia, Wallpaper, V Magazine.
